Broadway Florist is locally owned and operated by Scherry Johnson.

While working in the insurance field for many years, which included working weekends, Scherry knew this was not what she wanted to do for the rest of her life and decided to make a positive change.

Scherry opened a floral shop in Los Angeles, CA and 35 years later, is still in the business of making memorable flower and gift arraignments. Scherry decided bring her years of experience to Oklahoma and in doing so purchased Broadway Florist in 2006.

Scherrys’ specialty is weddings where she takes pride in helping to make the wedding day special. She is the preferred Florist to the beautiful Rose Briar Wedding Chapel in Oklahoma City, as well as The Melting Pot fondue restaurant in Bricktown where a couple can enjoy a romantic evening with their own personal roses at their table.

Come by Chick-fil-A, in Moore and see the table pieces that she provides and then visit Showplace Market and see the colorful arrangements seen by many shoppers daily.

When the time comes, Scherry can provide beautiful and heartfelt arrangements for the funeral of a loved one. Be it a beautiful spray for the casket, to a sympathy arrangement from family members, friends or co-workers, Scherry can design the perfect arrangement.

Broadway Florist services the Moore, Norman and Greater Oklahoma City areas as well as Midwest City and Del City.  Scherry is a member of many networking groups and is a board member for the Moore Chamber of Commerce as well as the current secretary for the Old Town Association in Moore.

While Scherry loves working with flowers and helping her customers, she has a deep concern for her community and the children within it.  She works throughout the year with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to raise money for the Food for Kids Backpack program.

Scherry and her husband Mark have two children her beautiful daughter, Theresa and son Jeremiah. Her daughter has given her beautiful twin granddaughters.
